MUMBAI: Senior Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah says hating Muslims has become fashionable among people from all walks of life in India. During an interview with the Indian media, actor Naseeruddin Shah, who has played important roles in numerous Bollywood films, accused the Indian government of spreading Islamophobia.
Expressing concern over the growing hatred against the Muslim community in India, Dakar said that hatred against Muslims, be it in films or in reality, has become fashionable these days.
He said that this is a disturbing time, propaganda is being done against Muslims, the current government has cleverly polluted people’s minds against Islam and Muslims, and now educated and intelligent Hindus also hate Muslims. Naseeruddin Shah raised the question that if India is a secular country, and there is a democratic system, why do these people introduce religion into everything?

ممبئی: بالی ووڈ کے سینئر اداکار نصیر الدین شاہ کا کہنا ہے کہ مسلمانوں سے نفرت کرنا بھارت میں ہر طبقے کے لوگوں کا فیشن بن گیا ہے۔
بھارتی میڈیا کو ایک انٹرویو کے دوران بالی ووڈ کی بےشمار فلموں میں اہم کردار ادا کرنے والے اداکار نصیرالدین شاہ نے بھارتی حکومت پر اسلاموفوبیا پھیلانے کا الزام عائد کر دیا۔
اداکار نے بھارت میں مسلم کمیونٹی کے خلاف بڑھتی ہوئی نفرت پر تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ چاہے فلمیں ہوں یا حقیقت مسلمانوں سے نفرت آج کل فیشن بن چکا ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ یہ پریشان کن وقت ہے مسلمانوں کے خلاف پروپیگنڈا کیا جا رہا ہے حکومتِ وقت نے چالاکی سے اسلام اور مسلمانوں کے خلاف لوگوں کے ذہن آلودہ کر دیئے ہیں اب پڑھے لکھے اور باشعور ہندو بھی مسلمانوں سے نفرت کرتے ہیں۔
نصیرالدین شاہ نے سوال اُٹھایا کہ اگر بھارت سیکولر ملک ہے یہاں جمہوری نظام ہے تو یہ لوگ ہر چیز میں مذہب کو کیوں داخل کر دیتے ہیں؟
